I have added a third party chat to a html page on my phbb3 forum. This page is only accessible to members, and I would like to place an online counter that will display in my forum sidebar the number of people viewing the html page. If this is possible then it would be a great help in connecting my members.

Thanks
Mike

Does the third party chatbox have any smaller displays, sort of like a dynamic signature. If they did, you could use one of those and place it in a widget and then enable widgets on one side of your forums.

Over the past couple of days I have tested almost every free visitor tracking add on available on both with the url of my html page, and with the url of my chat room. On every single instance it always states that someone is in that room or on that page when no one is present. I really wish I could figure it out since there is no way to tell how many people are in the room.

If it just says one, it'd be you since you're viewing it

I'm viewing it in a widget on my forum sidebar, so I don't think it should display a count. The url in the widget is from either the room which is off site or the html page.
