Hello,

I am creating a new homepage for the forums I use, and I dislike the way the portal pages look so I have decided to create my homepage as a normal html page using the html page management section.

I was wondering if there was still a way I could include some of the portal widgets from the portal on this page. I wasn't use if there was any {} codes or such that I could use to grab those portal widgets and put them into the page?

Thanks,
Vanilla990.

Go to your portal templates if you're on PHPbb2 or PunBB and you can find the code for each widget.

Copying over the News Portal widget onto a blank html page gives me an error like this:

And I went into the portal widget and selected the topic I wanted it to watch. It's a shame because its some of the default widgets that I want to use. If it was my own custom widgets it wouldn't be as bad because for an rss feed I could just take the code I first used.
