The mouse over effect is done using Tipsy, and can only be done with PHPBB2 and PUNBB... If you have one of those I can show you how to do it Wink

The forum icons are images with a CSS margin-left: -16; property, they're just aligned specially.

Tipsy can be installed here: http://onehackoranother.com/projects/jquery/tipsy/

Once you've installed Tipsy to your forum, Go to your templates and to Index_box, and replace:

Code:
<img title="{catrow.forumrow.L_FORUM_FOLDER_ALT}" src="{catrow.forumrow.FORUM_FOLDER_IMG}" alt="{catrow.forumrow.L_FORUM_FOLDER_ALT}"/>

with

Code:
<img title="{catrow.forumrow.L_FORUM_FOLDER_ALT}" src="{catrow.forumrow.FORUM_FOLDER_IMG}" alt="{catrow.forumrow.L_FORUM_FOLDER_ALT}" class="TIPSYVARIABLENAME"/>
